From sacred halls to prison walls—this is their song
In 17th-century England, church and state spoke with a single voice, and that voice could not be questioned.
Preaching without permission led to torture, imprisonment, and even death.
Rev. John Lothropp believed that men should be free to act—or not act—according to their own conscience.
In defiance of the law, he continued preaching in secret to faithful followers of Christ.
He was eventually captured and imprisoned for the crime of staying true to his conscience.
Lyrics that move the soul and tell the truth
A stirring soundtrack of testimony and conviction
How did this all come to be?

This production is presented by Freedom Through Christ. Performances will be held annually at the Sanpete County Fairgrounds in Manti, Utah—just 300 yards from the hill where the Mormon Miracle Pageant touched hearts for more than 50 years.
